Apples Patent To Change Multi-Touch Forever, Space Ship Patent On The Way

October 3rd, 2009 No comments

Apple Mutitouch Patent

At first sight the picture above looks like the control panel from a Sci-Fi space ship. It is actually a sketch of apples latest patent which is suppose to be a large multi-touch surface that can recognize all 10 of your fingers and palms as well as your cheek and nose when you smoosh your face against it.

In the patent filing they claim that this system would provide, “unprecedented integration of typing, resting, pointing, scrolling, 3D manipulation, and handwriting into a versatile, ergonomic computer input device.” Whether they plan on making a futuristic keyboard, mouse replacement or they are looking to put this technology on the Apple Tablet we are excited to see this come to the market. If Apple decided to put it on the Coca-Cola Freestyle Dispenser we would still be excited to see it.

AT&T Rumored To Release Femtocells Next Week

September 18th, 2009 No comments

ATT MicroCell

After months of rumors it looks like ATT has finally decided to roll out their femtocells in a soft launch to a few markets. Those markets include Atlanta, San Antonio, Seattle and a city or two in North Carolina.

What is a femtocell? It is a device used to extend your wireless/3G range. If you live in an area where the reception is bad then you can pick up one of these devices, hook it up to your home internet connection and get a beautifully strong 3G connection.

While this is great and all, you are having to plug this into your router, which is most likely a wireless router…. which will give you a better connection over WiFi than you will get over the femtocell 3G. Now all phones don’t have WiFi capabilities and so this is a big perk for the 3 nation wide customers few ATT customers who have a data plan with a phone that doesn’t have WiFi built in.

This should help alleviate some of the 3G load and make it a little more reliable and snappy but since the majority of 3G is eaten by iPhone users and the femtocell doesn’t really help to get iPhone users off 3G I foresee the improvements being minimal. [BGR]

Apple’s ‘Only Rock And Roll’ Event Roundup

iPod Nano Video

When we first mentioned the Sept 9th conference and the rumors circling it the new Nano is not one that we brought up. Why? Mostly, I have no idea but alot of it had to do with the fact that I mostly just don’t care. For those of you who do here is what was announced:

• Video camera (640×480)
• NO STILL CAMERA
• Integrated mic
• Integrated speaker
• FM Radio!!!!! That you can pause!! And iTunes tag!
• One-click YouTube uploads (through your computer)
• Voice Over like Shuffle
• Pedometer with Nike+ syncing online
• Voice Recorder
• 2.2-inch screen(whoo hoo .2in bigger than the last)

The 8GB Nano is available today for $150 and the 16GB is available for $180. So if you are looking to get a Nano I don’t know why you would go with the 8GB as opposed to the 16GB. Some pretty cool upgrades for the Nano but seriously, no still camera?

iPod Touch 3rd Gen

The 3rd generation iPod touches were announced as well. The iPod Touch now comes in 8GB, 32GB and 64GB for $199, $299 and $399. The bigger storage is nice but our hopes and dreams were shattered when we heard that there was no camera and no mic in the new iTouch. The 32GB and 64Gb flavors do have a “50% faster processor” just like the iPhone 3GS. The graphics processor has also been updated to be OpenGL ES 2.0 capable–hence their push on the gaming market.

So why didn’t we see a camera and mic in the 3rd gen? We can’t be sure but here are some possible reasons:

  • Not enough room – Anyone who has held a 2nd gen iTouch and compared it to the iPhone they know there is a big size difference. One part of that is the iPhone having the phone hardware in it but the camera also plays a big role in that. Us being camera/mic-less could simply be due to the fact that there wasn’t enough room
  • Feature flow- The small iPod Nano now has a camera so why not put it in the iTouch? The iPhone has a relatively impressive camera for being a cell phone. If I were to get a 3rd gen iTouch I would expect the same quality–quality that the video camera in the Nano doesn’t have. The Nano camera is very cheap and wouldn’t flow in the larger iTouch.
  • Manufacturing issues- This one is less likely. Some people have said they believe that Apple was planning on releasing the iTouch but during manufacturing they ran into some problems and decided last minute to leave it out. I could buy this if the iTouch wasn’t available TODAY but it is! If they had run into manufacturing issues they more than likely wouldn’t have made their deadline–which they did.
  • Pricing- Apple wants a $199 iPod touch. Which they have–even if it is because the 8GB iTouch being offered is really the 2nd gen. If they were to add a camera to it the price most likely would have to be more than $199 in order to keep Apple’s margin at a reasonable level.
  • Market control- Apple has had its eyes on the Flip which is available for less than $150. Apple wants to compete with the Flip and it will be impossible for Apple to make the iPod Touch that price and still make a reasonable profit margin.
  • Consuming the iPhone market- One reason I was so excited for the Touch to have a camera and mic was so that I could use it like an iPhone when I was in Wi-Fi areas. Which is probably a big reason why Apple didn’t add these features to the Touch. If they did they could potentially take some of the market away from the iPhone–like me. For me, I would still eventually get an iPhone but it may keep me from making the plunge for longer than I would have otherwise.
  • Evolution of a giant- In almost every market that Apple has products in they are the number one player–all other companies are clamoring to compete. As of now no other company has released a product that can compete. If you have the best products on the market why do your best when “good enough” is keeping you ahead of the pack? They may just be keeping a few “secret weapons”–Apple Tablet?–in case another company releases something that may steal some of their market.

New iPod Shuffle

The new shuffles are pretty cool. The tiny MP3 player is now more tiny and comes in 2GB and 4GB models. The shuffle is now just big enough to have a clip on it that will attach it to your shirt, etc. One of my gripes with the shuffle in the past has been the lack of any kind of screen so you have no idea who the artist is or what song is playing. Now, the shuffle has a VoiceOver option that will–in a wonderfully robotic voice–at the press of a button say the artist and track name. For an extra $20 you can get a polished stainless steel version as well to go with the polyester pants you wear to the gym.

The iPod classic hasn’t died yet. The 160GB is now available for $250.

iTunes 9 is now available as well. New features include:

  • Home Sharing — This allows you to share your songs, movies and TV shows with up to 5 other computers on your local network. You can copy the files to the other computers or stream them over the network.
  • iTunes LPs — Basically bonus CDs for digital albums. If you buy an entire album on iTunes you will now get the LP complete with extra songs that only you get, lyrics, photo albums as well as some video content and generally some live concerts.
  • iTunes Extra — aka iTunes LPs. With iTunes Extra you get the equivalent to the “Bonus Features” disc when you buy a DVD.
  • New Storefront — The store is now more intuitive and feels more like a piece of software you download rather than a bloated web page feel that it has had in the past.
  • Updated Interface — For the most part no real improvements here. I think Apple just felt the need to put their hand in the code and wave it around a bit. The artists list and albums list now have their own columns to the left of the music as well as the artwork column. The silver header on iTunes is now a lighter gradient that kind of looks strange at first glance.
  • App Manager — iPhone/Touch fans are now in luck. iTunes 9 has a new feature which allows you to rearrange the way apps are displayed on your device and can be dragged and dropped as well as synced.
  • Palm Pre Blocked — With those of you who have been keeping up with the gauntlet to the death between Apple and Palm, iTunes 9–once again–has blocked the Pre from syncing with iTunes. Palms WebOS 1.2 will fix that though. And then Apple will come out with another update that will block the Pre again. And so on and so on, forever, until the end of the world–then, Palm will come out with another update.

Steve Jobs made an appearance which was exciting but still not enough to bring life to this disappointing conference.

As for the Apple Tablet, no hope for us in sight. Apple isn’t giving us any information or even acknowledging the rumors but we know in our hearts that there is something brewing at the Apple HQ.

So lets wrap it up.

iPod nano – Now has a video camera and FM radio, no still camera.

iPod Touch — No camera in sight, bigger storage options, no Mic.

Apple Tablet — Still just a figment of our imagination.

iPod Shuffle — Now smaller, new colors, VoiceOver

Steve Jobs – Still alive, or Apple has developed a very realistic cyborg–which not likely but possible.

iTunes 9 — Updated interface, media sharing, App manger, 1 point for Apple in the Pre vs. iTunes battle royale.

Xbox 360 Super Elite Spotted Again Complete With 250 GB Hard Drive

September 7th, 2009 No comments

Xbox 360 Super Elite

Just like we had assumed when we saw the Xbox 360 “Super Elite” pop up on Amazon, this retail ad in South Africa shows the release date for the new member of the 360 family to be released in October. Pricing for the 250GB bundle with 2 wireless controllers is a little more expensive here in this leak–hovering right around $646. Hopefully the US release is closer to the $400 price we saw on Amazon.

Omnia 2 Available For Pre-Order On Amazon

September 3rd, 2009 No comments

Samsung I8000 Unlocked Omnia 2

The GSM version of the Omnia 2 has been available for some time now. Now Amazon is listing the unlocked international version available for pre-order. Too impatient to wait for the Omnia 2 to come to your carrier and don’t mind paying an extra $500 for the phone? Here is your opportunity. I am not sure how much the Omnia II will be with a 2 year agreement when it comes to Verizon, but it definitely won’t be $500.

Again, this is for the GSM model so you won’t be able to use this with CDMA providers like Verizon.

Here are the specs:

  • GSM 850 / 900 / 1800 / 1900
  • HSDPA 900 / 1900 / 2100
  • AMOLED resistive touchscreen, 16M colors (65K effective), 480 x 800 pixels, 3.7 inches
  • microSD (TransFlash) card slot, up to 32 GB
  • Microsoft Windows Mobile 6.1 Professional
  • GPS with A-GPS support, 3D map

If you really are looking to go this way you can find the Omnia 2 from other sources for a few hundred dollars less if you do some google-ing.

Verizon Changing Data Plans Next Month, Convincing You It Is A Good Idea

August 31st, 2009 No comments

Verizon Data Pricing Announcement

Repeat after me:  No unlimited data plan with Verizon is a good thing. This is what Verizon is going to be  trying to convince all of their mind controlled zombies customers come September 8th–maybe.

Verizon will have a new classification of phone beginning in a week as well–”Enhanced Multimedia Phones”. Those phones will be required to pay for either the $9.99 or $19.99 per month data plans–much like how the red giant requires Blackberry devices to have a data plan.

What constitutes a phone being described as an Enhanced Multimedia Phone you ask? It has to have an HTML Web browser, EV-DO Rev. A, a QWERTY keypad, and it must launch on or after September 8th. If it doesn’t meet ALL of those requirements then it doesn’t qualify and won’t have the data plan forced upon it.

While the Omnia 2 doesn’t classify as a EMP we probably still won’t be seeing it until after this data plan switch. And what about the unlimited data plans? Will they be available for other phones? We sure hope so but it sounds like it has been thrown out the window. This will be a good change for people who occasionally check their email or browse every now and then but for power users who are constantly on the internet or who tether their phone to their laptop for internet this could be really expensive if the unlimited plan is completely done away with. Xbox 360 Elite Now Only $299 – 250GB Model On The Way

August 28th, 2009 2 comments

Xbox 360 Elite Only $299

The Xbox 360 Elite has now taken the place of the 20GB Pro model and is officially $299. You can pick one up anywhere the console is sold. Now the price line up is:

$299 – Xbox 360 Elite 120 GB
$249 – Xbox 360 Pro 60 GB
$199 – Xbox 360 Arcade 256 MB

Also some big news–Amazon.de “accidentally” posted a 250GB–super?–elite Xbox 360 bundled with 2 wireless controllers and Forza Motorsport 3.

Xbox 360 Elite 250

The 360 Super Elite was listed for 279,99 EUR–just under $400 USD. Amazon.de is the same place where the PS3 Slim was listed 20 days before the official release and they have been nice enough to help us out again. There is no official word on the release of this version of the Elite but Forza 3 is due out October 23rd so we have got  a month or two to wait I would guess. This is a good deal, since a week ago you would have paid $400 for 130GB less, 1 controller less and no new release game.

Omnia 2 Now In Verizon Database

August 28th, 2009 No comments

Verizon Omnia 2

It’s not as if we haven’t seen a fake “leaked” photo before but this one looks a little more promising. If my original assumptions were correct that we would be getting the Omnia 2 around September then this would be head on. Once the VZ warehouse has the product in their database, complete with the manufacturer code it is not long before we get to go into the store and hold one in our hands.

The Omnia 2–now with manufacturer code SCHI920DAV–should swiftly be on its way to Verizon stores now. In the photo you will notice that the quantity available is zero, but also that it was last updated on August 27 around lunch time, so anything could have happened since then.

Check back soon for updates as well as reviews of the CDMA version. [PhoneArena]

[UPDATE]: I have been told by multiple sources that the “Quantity Available = 0″ doesn’t necessarily mean that the warehouse/vz stores don’t have the O2. It could be that the warehouse has already shipped the devices out to the retail stores, or it could be that VZ doesn’t want any reps to accidentally sell the Omnia 2 and so they have the quantity listed as 0. Thanks all.

Xbox 360 Elite Discounted Price Becoming More Of A Reality

August 25th, 2009 No comments

Xbox 360 Amazon

We have seen alot of pictures of the new 360 box that shows the middle brother of the 360s and we have heard the rumors that the Elite will soon be cheaper. Until now, however, those all seemed to simply be rumors. Today amazon listed the Xbox 360 Elite in a white box–much like those “leaked” images we saw.

This means two things, one we will probably be losing the middle of the road 360–maybe in preparation for a Natal bundled system– and two, we may see the $299 Xbox 360 Elite price drop rumor may come to fruition.

This wouldn’t be a bad idea for Microsoft with the release of the $299 PS3 Slim that has the same sized 120GB hard drive.

Hitting Verizon Soon – Motorola Sholes, Curve 2, Storm 2, More – Still No Omnia 2 Love For US

August 24th, 2009 No comments

VZW Upcoming Phones

Well the day after BGR claimed the Omnia 2 would be hitting Best Buy stores we are all once again greatly disappointed by a false rumor. After stopping by a Best Buy first thing this morning and having everything I ever wanted vanish my hopes and dreams crushed we do have some hope for Verizon customers on the horizon.

Granting that this time the BGR leaked info is legit Verizon will have a whole slew of phones hitting the market in Q4 of this year.

Here’s the list(phone – release – est cost):

  • LG Chocolate Touch                    -    October    -                  $230
  • Samsung Rogue                             –    August    -                    $370
  • Blackberry Storm 2                     –    October    -                   $TBD
  • Nokia Twist 7705                        -    Late September    -    $230
  • Moto Sholes(Google Phone)    -    Late October    -         $TBD
  • HTC Razzle/Blitz 2                       –    Late October    -         $TBD
  • BlackBerry Curve 2                     –    Late November    -    $TBD
  • Samsung Intensity                      -     September     –            $160

The much discussed Storm 2 jumps out at me first with an October release. There isn’t a price listed here for it but I would guess it we could see it for $199 if Verizon and BlackBerry was smart. With the results of their first horrible attempt it would be smart to price the phone competitively to coax those still bitter about their purchase of the first storm into giving them a second chance. As a spokesman from BlackBerry said the Storm was their first touchscreen attempt and it is “never perfect on the first try” however Apple never had a problem with their first touch screen.

The Motorola Sholes will be the first Android phone–”Google phone”–to be released on the Verizon network which we are excited to see. [BGR]

Verizon Samsung Omnia 2, August 23rd Release – Update

August 20th, 2009 1 comment

Verizon Omnia 2

You are probably tired of hearing about the Omnia 2 considering all of these posts but here it goes.

With the–rumored–leaked release date of the August 23rd Omnia 2 release to Verizon just around the corner I decided to stop by a local Verizon retail store and sniff around.

Before walking in I really had my doubts considering we have heard nothing about the release of the device and Verizon is still keeping its mouth shut. As I walked up to the store I was almost positive that the Omnia 2 was not going to be here in the next few days.

I walked in and was immediately asked for my name and why I came in that day. I said my contract was about to run out and I was hoping to find something that would keep me from switching to the iPhone in the next month or two. The guy set the clipboard down and began to help me right away. He first walked up to the Storm and I shot him down. He hasn’t been reading my blog.

He walked me over to the first gen Omnia and the HTC Ozone and their other devices and I wasn’t impressed with any.

I asked him about the Omnia 2. I told him I had gotten to see some GSM versions of it and heard that Verizon would be getting one as well.

His words to me were, “Yes we are! I was very impressed with the phone myself but haven’t heard an official release date. However our biggest phone releases are in the 4th quarter so I would expect it this year.”

Booo! I was really hoping he would leak us some information that we weren’t already 90% sure of. Only a few more days to go and I doubt that we will be seeing the Omnia 2 any time in the next few weeks. Our only hope is that Verizon is trying to keep it a big secret to blast everyone into staying/switching to Verizon. I highly doubt this as it would have been smarter to advertise for it months ago when the Pre and iPhone 3GS were being released. I know of many who have left Verizon for the Pre as well as the 3GS.

Apple Tablet Definitely Coming This Holiday Season, Maybe

August 13th, 2009 1 comment

Apple Keynote 2009

Rumors are buzzing all around the net about several different pieces of Apple news. One of the more reliable rumors bouncing around is that Apple will be hosting a keynote event for the week of September 7th. At this event the voices rumors say that Apple will be announcing some new products. This would follow the companies habit of releasing new iPods every fall.

The products that are to be announced are the new iPod touches which boast a camera, microphone and versions with 16, 32 and 64GB. These are rumored to be released for $199, $299 and $399.

More rumors include the notorious Apple Tablet that we have been hearing about. But, there are no solid rumors about that so we will just have to see. Hopefully more info will begin to leak out about the Apple Tablet such as what OS it will be running, hardware specs, will it have service through ATT or some other carrier?

An undisclosed source has said the following:

“The device, which I’ve held mock ups of, is going to have a 10 inch screen, and when I saw it looked just like a giant iPhone, with a black back— although that design could change at any time, with the same black resin back, and the familiar home button.”

“But it will come in two editions, one with a webcam and one for educational use.”

“The first prototype was built around the end of 2008. The time to market from first prototype is generally 6-9 months.”

Samsung Omnia 2 Possibly Coming August 23 Maybe

August 8th, 2009 No comments

Best Buy Phone Release Leak

This photo supposedly is a from a Best Buy computer showing the arrival of several upcoming devices. The one of course that jumps out to us is the Omnia 2 scheduled to come out on August 23rd. There are some confusing things here such as the G2 Black and Red that is probably referring to the mytouch3G that is already out at T-Mobile. Also the Tour is there on the 23rd as well which is already available through Verizon and Sprint.

I doubt that this photo is legit. Through several trips to Verizon stores and speaking with 4 or 5 different reps none of them had heard of or were familiar with the Omnia 2. One of them said to me “if we knew of one coming out later this month we could let you know but as of now I don’t know that any are”. I think I am going to wait for some more legit leaks to pop up or for an official statement as to the official release date of the Omnia 2 to the Verizon network.

Samsung Omnia 2 Pictures, New Specs And Hope For ATT

August 5th, 2009 No comments

It has only been a few days since we  posted some stock pictures and some specs about the Omnia 2. We now have some more info and pictures to share. The coolest update is the Omnia 2 emulator on the Samsung website. Click on the link and check it out. Use your mouse like you would your finger. It is very intuitive for a Windows Mobile 6 overlay.

Videos coming tomorrow! For now you will have to be happy with the pictures below.

Samsung Omnia 2

Above is a front facing photo of the Omnia from PhoneArena complete with 3.7 inch touchscreen, front facing camera and soft keys.

Samsung Omnia 2 Camera

Here is a picture of the back side of the phone with the 5.0 megapixel camera that is capable of DVD quality video recording.

Samsung Omnia 2 vs iTouch

Here is a comparison of the iTouch placed next to the Omnia 2. The Omnia 2 is slightly larger top to bottom which you will really notice if you are someone who carries their phone in their pocket. For comparisons sake the iPhone 3G measures 4.5″ H x 2.4″ W x 0.48″ D and weighs 4.8 ounces . The Omnia 2 measures 4.65″ H x 2.36 “W x 0.47″ D and weighs 4.34 ounces.

This phone is now coming to GSM carriers as well as Verzion so you ATT and T-Mobile drones users are in luck.

Click on the images below for full sized versions of the Opera web browser in action, the miniUSB and 3.5mm headphone jacks as well as the front facing camera. For a complete review of the GSM model of the Omnia 2 visit PhoneArena.

Netflix Coming To iPhone, iTouch and Wii

August 4th, 2009 No comments

Netflix iPhone

Still just a rumor for now but a believable one. MultiChannel is saying that we could expect to see iPhone and iTouch apps allowing you to watch your Netflix movies and tv over Wi-Fi as well as on the Wii.

MultiChannel is presenting it as fact but we are hesitant to believe that this is all coming to fruition in the future.

Future Desktop PCs Very Similar To Every Sci-Fi Movie We Love

July 31st, 2009 No comments

Microsoft Craig Mundie Tech Demo

In a demo by Craig Mundie–Microsoft’s top research and strategy officer showed how computers in the future will have multiple touch screens as well as voice and gesture controls.

From Cnet UK:

“His demo included hologram-like videoconferencing, a virtual digital assistant, and multiple surface computers, along with voice-, touch- and gesture-recognition technology. The desk in the demo was a multitouch surface computer, and the office’s walls were also a display that could easily switch from being a virtual window or collection of digital photos to a corkboard of sticky notes or various workspaces. In one case, Mundie also used Project Natal-like depth cameras to put himself in the middle of an architectural demo, essentially putting himself inside a building that was not yet built.”

This has the potential to change everything. Productivity would sky rocket–as well as entertainment. Imagine when Google Real Estate comes out and you are able to do a virtual tour and walk through a house as if you were there.

The possibilities are endless when you think of what could be done with a workstation like this–especially if teamed up with The Emperor. For instance you could video conference with several people and all of you could be sitting in a virtual room where you could look around the room and see each other and see where the other was looking. With the Natal technology it could even sound like you were in the room with each other.

Unfortunately when if a computer comes out like this many people will probably have to choose between buying a house or buying this… We know what we would choose.

Rumored Apple Tablet Rumored To Be Released Early Next Year

Apple TabletAppleInsider–who over 2 years ago–exclusively announced that Apple would soon release a new jumbo 3G iTouch-esque touch screen device.

AppleInsider has observed silently as the project was reset at least a half-dozen times over the past 24 months” which makes us wonder why we haven’t heard any updates about the status of this project. Now it sounds like they once again they information that–would lead them to believ–that the Apple tablet will be released early next year.

Hopefully this time the information is legit. Thousands of At least 3 people out there are still staying faithful to Apple when it comes to their touch screen devices and are in desperate need of an upgrade from their Apple Newton Messagepad:

100 Reasons To Buy An iPhone

July 24th, 2009 2 comments

iPhone

The iPhone has been around for several years now but there are still many people who have not made the plunge. Some have been held back due to bad experiences with Cingular–which for the most part was a horrible carrier when the iPhone first came out. Some people have held off because of the high price tag on the phone or because they were afraid of making the move to 100% touch screen.

Whatever the reason the time has never been better to give the iPhone a try. The 3GS is out now which you can get for $199(8GB). You can pick up the 8Gb 3G iPhone for $99 or the refurb 3G for $79. These are the prices on the website. I am not sure if they are more expensive in the store but if they are it may be worth it to have the phone now now NOW!

As for the carrier. Since the switch to ATT and receiving exclusive rights to the iPhone the service has been much better. When speaking with friends pre-iPhone who were on the Cingular network it was a horrible experience. Constant dropped calls and poor quality. Today speaking with friends who have iPhones my Verizon cell phone is to blame more often than theirs for poor quality.

Many people are waiting for the iPhone to come to their provider. I say its not worth the wait. The CEO of ATT has admitted that the iPhone will not be exclusive forever but if a Verizon iPhone is in the works it is at least a year and a half out. At that point it will give Verizon 6 months to work out the kinks before your contract runs out and you can come running back should the service with ATT be less than to be desired.

Moving on. Here is the list of my Top 100 reasons to buy an iPhone today! Feel free to comment and let us know what you would add.

  1. You can send emails with ‘Sent from my iPhone.’ in the footer.
  2. Always have your ipod with you.
  3. Is friendly with PCs and even more so with MACs.
  4. The App Store–If you wish your iPhone could do something it doesn’t there is probably an application to do it already.
  5. It is beautiful.
  6. You will never have to worry about Apple blocking your ability to sync with iTunes
  7. You can have it in any color you want as long as its white or black.
  8. 3G browsing speed.
  9. Stock application.
  10. International support
  11. They are very affordable now–less than some inferior smartphones with other providers.
  12. The data plan has been reduced by $10.
  13. Touch screen.
  14. Unmatched fluid interface.
  15. Enhanced conctact functions.
  16. PUSH email.
  17. PUSH calendar.
  18. PUSH contacts.
  19. Email management–mass move and delete.
  20. Email attachments.
  21. GPS.
  22. Maps and directions.
  23. Some third-party support without the need to jailbreak.
  24. MobileMe support.
  25. Track your iPhone online through MobileMe.
  26. Push messages, alerts and lock down your iPhone from your MobileMe account if phone is lost or stolen.
  27. Additional languages.
  28. Scientific calculator.
  29. Password protection.
  30. YouTube channel.
  31. WiFi (802.11b/g)
  32. Cut, Copy and paste.
  33. You will have more friends and be able to influence people.
